The Culley’s story began on a train over 80 years ago when Edward Toynbee and Alice Culley (pictured right) met the owner of a Fremantle store who was looking to sell. Mr and Mrs Culley were looking to buy, 15 minutes later the deal was done, the rest is history.

The Culleys story has been running for four generations and stretched over 80 years. Dick and Ted took over from Edward and Alice, Darrel Culley and Bob Wegner continued the tradition, today, Darrell Culley’s son Michael Culley run the tea rooms with his co-owner Oliver Pownall.
